Standard Ship Spares LLC and Standard Technical Supply LLC both part of the Standard Group of companies, participated in the 16th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (Wetex 2014) in Dubai UAE. The three-day exhibition was inaugurated by Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year's Wetex Show opened with with a focus on green solutions and green economy. This exhibition saw the Standard Group introduce several new Pump lines into the UAE and GCC market. Our new principals who have joined us in the past few months and years such as Rovatti Pumps Italy, Zenit Pumps Italy and a complete range of Stanflo Centrifugal and Submersible pumps for the UAE and GCC market. These new lines of pumps will help them serve the market with new products lines and better offerings. The Standard Group has focused on Water pumps in this region in order to penetrate the construction, agricultural, power sector and industrial sector where these pumps can be used. In keeping with Wetex's aim for green solutions, the Standard Group focuses on pump technologies which offer greater performance with smaller pumps and systems. This saves a lot in energy costs. Their focus is to have minimum downtime for pumps which also is a cause of concern for clientele. Better quality pumps offer very less downtime. The group has warehouse and storage facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat - Oman to offer pumps from stock and also provisions of a service center and field engineer in Dubai for repair and after sales issues when and if they occur.
