Standard group launches Standard Technical Supply LLC Oman at OGWA

Standard Group of Companies participated in the Oil and Gas West Asia (OGWA) in Muscat Oman from the 31st March - 2nd April 2014. The Standard Group launched their new Sales office Standard Technical Supply LLC Muscat Oman at the show. The new office is located at Ghala Industrial area about 10 minutes from the Muscat International Airport. OGWA 2014 Exhibition and Conference is a gathering of local and international oil and gas companies from the GCC, technology and service providers, equipment suppliers, and other companies directly serving the industry’s requirements. It is a forum for discussing the latest developments and directions of the industry, as well as a platform for trade and business opportunities among the oil and gas companies and international oil and gas firms. OGWA 2014 is a three-day event that is held every two years. Since its launch in 1998, it has been receiving support from the Ministry of Oil & Gas, Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Oman LNG, and other leading local companies. Standard Group's participation at OGWA was a positive development and gave us an opportunity to showcase our range of products to our existing Omani clients as well as new potential clients. We were honored that our stand was visited by His Excellency Dr Ali bin Masoud bin Ali al Sunaidy, Oman Minister of Commerce and Industry. His Excellency also inaugurated the OGWA show. We look forward to growing our market share for our pumps in Oman and the OGWA was a stepping stone to increased penetration in the Oman market.

Standard Ship Spares Dubai receives ‘Highest Overall International Sales’ Award

Standard Ship Spares Dubai receives 'Highest Overall International Sales' Award at 2014 FTI EMEA Regional Conference Finish Thompson recently held its 2014 :: EMEA - Regional Conference in exotic Marrakech, Morocco. This Conference was attended by distribution partners from all over the European, Middle Eastern and African regions. Attendees once again had the opportunity to learn via presentations and hands-on materials as well as offer contributions of their own. As part of the conference, Standard Ship Spares LLC Dubai (part of the Standard Group) got an opportunity to provided insight into applications where Finish Thompson pumps had been successful in the GCC region. The conference also saw the inaugural meeting of the FTI Distributor Advisory Board (DAB), which will provide FTI's partners a platform from which they can work together to generate constructive feedback and serve as a guide for future customer relations, marketing, and product design. Murtaza Rasheed, Executive Director of the Standard Group of Companies, who also overseas the distribution of FTI products is also on the FTI DAB board. For the Standard Group, the highlight was receiving the Highest Overall International Sales Award at the conference in Morocco. This is the third such award received by the group from FTI USA in the last four years. It is indeed an honor and achievement by the hard working team at the Standard Group.

Standard Group participates in Wetex 2014 in Dubai

Standard Ship Spares LLC and Standard Technical Supply LLC both part of the Standard Group of companies, participated in the 16th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (Wetex 2014) in Dubai UAE. The three-day exhibition was inaugurated by Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year's Wetex Show opened with with a focus on green solutions and green economy. This exhibition saw the Standard Group introduce several new Pump lines into the UAE and GCC market. Our new principals who have joined us in the past few months and years such as Rovatti Pumps Italy, Zenit Pumps Italy and a complete range of Stanflo Centrifugal and Submersible pumps for the UAE and GCC market. These new lines of pumps will help them serve the market with new products lines and better offerings. The Standard Group has focused on Water pumps in this region in order to penetrate the construction, agricultural, power sector and industrial sector where these pumps can be used. In keeping with Wetex's aim for green solutions, the Standard Group focuses on pump technologies which offer greater performance with smaller pumps and systems. This saves a lot in energy costs. Their focus is to have minimum downtime for pumps which also is a cause of concern for clientele. Better quality pumps offer very less downtime. The group has warehouse and storage facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat - Oman to offer pumps from stock and also provisions of a service center and field engineer in Dubai for repair and after sales issues when and if they occur.
